This policy explains how Caverton & Vale collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit cavertonandvale.co.uk or place an order with us.

1. Who we are

Caverton & Vale is a trading name of LRH Online, a business registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce (KVK): 91689236, VAT: NL004909393B06), Van Marsbergenstraat 53, 2134 LV Hoofddorp, Netherlands. 2. What we collect

• Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, the items you order and your order history.
• Payment details: payments are handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages you send us, for example through our contact form or by email.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use it

• To process, ship and support your order, including returns and refunds (to fulfil our contract with you).
• To answer your questions (our legitimate interest in giving good customer service).
• To send you news and offers, only if you have signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link (your consent).
• To keep our website secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interest).
• To keep the records that tax and accounting law require (legal obligation).

4. Who we share it with

We only share what is needed with: our fulfilment partners and suppliers, who prepare and ship your order (some of them are based in China); delivery companies; payment providers; Shopify, which hosts our store; and advertising or analytics partners such as Meta, where you allow cookies for that purpose. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Transfers outside the UK and EEA

Because some of our fulfilment partners and service providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area, your data may be processed in other countries, including China, Canada and the United States. We only share the details needed for each purpose.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that the store needs to work, for example to remember what is in your cart. Some cookies help us understand how visitors use the site or show relevant adverts. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

7. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe. Other data is deleted once we no longer need it.

Our store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
